Reunion 2001
Missing: Only a few were missing: the Richard Bealls (4 people), the David Bealls (4 people), the Robert Bealls (5 people), Mark A. Chatigny, the Mark E. Chatignys (6 people), Shelly Harding, Joe and Doug Chatigny, Bill Carle, J.R. Prohaska, Justin Eres, the Moczars (3 people), the Jason Colthursts (3 people), Gillian Colthurst, Tommy and Trina Madigan, Thomas and Brendan Colthurst, the Sprueuglis (2 people), the Shanes (2 people), the James Kellys (2 people), and James Ragsdale Bev Kempey's 75th birthday, which was the Reunion, was a very special time, not only for Bev, but for all of us. It was the first time in 13 years that we had all been together. It was a team effort all the way. Without the team, this birthday bash and reunion would not have been so successful. We almost had 100% attendance and everyone felt comfortable and knew everyone else. My many thanks to all the chairs and all the members and a special thanks to our host and hostess, Brian and Maggie Kelly. It was there idea to have this party for Bev, and it was there home that they opened up for all of us. Much work went into getting things ready in order to have all of us over. Thank you again, Brian and Maggie. Also, thank you Maggie for suggesting and procuring the professional photographer for taking the family photo. This will be a gathering that will be with us for many years. And what did everyone think of the reunion? The hugs I received from the little ones, the hand shakes and thank yous from the young adults, and the smiles on the adults faces were enough to say that everyone had a wonderful time and were very grateful to have this chance to see their relatives again. I'm sure that our ancestors were smiling with joy. What better way to honor our parents and grandparents than to continue to be together and enjoy each others company the way they did? And as for Rick, you're still with us.
