The Robert Sterling Beall Family

Robert Sterling Beall, youngest son of Rita & Ross Beall, was born January 7, 1936 in San Francisco, CA.  He attended schools in Piedmont, Palm Springs, and Redlands.  He graduated from Redlands High School in 1954.  He then attended San Bernardino Valley College.  Jerri Lee Hunt, daughter of Mary and Vern Hunt of San Bernardino, CA, was born ____ in Gallup, New Mexico..  She attended San Jose State College and majored in Journalism and English.  She later attended University of Redlands and received her teaching credentials.  Later, she received her Masters' Degree from University of San Francisco in Administration and Pupil Personnel Counseling.  Her favorite sports are skiing, aerobics, fishing, and family.  Her hangouts are Friday Night Happy Hours --anywhere--anytime. 

Bob Meets Jerri – March 1, 1957

On a blind date on March 1, 1957, Bob met Jerri Lee Hunt, who was attending University of Redlands. Jerri was the daughter of Vern & Mary Hunt of San Bernardino, CA.   Bob and Jerri immediately fell in love and were engaged March 27, 1957.

The two families were joined August 10, 1957 at a Catholic Ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Redlands, CA.   Jerri  had her teaching credential and was hired as a 5^th grade teacher in Colton, CA.  Previously, she had attended San Jose State College and University of Redlands.  Bob finished his Education at Cal Poly, San Dimas, as a social science major.  He started  teaching in Colton in 1960. He received his Masters’ Degree from Cal State Long Beach, and Jerri received her Masters’ Degree from University of San Francisco. In her educational career, she was a teacher, counselor, and assistant principal at Faye Ross Middle School.  Bob was very active in his educational career as Principal of four different schools, including California State Distinguished School, Whitney High School, a college preparatory school in ABC Unified School District.

 On January 8, 1961, Robert Beall 11 was born in San Bernardino, CA.  One year later, March 7, 1962, Rick La Vern Beall, their second son was born.  Both Robert and Rick attended schools in Long Beach, CA. Robert received his BA from UCLA and his law degree from USC.  Rick majored in architectural engineering and graduated from San Luis Obispo, CA Currently, Robert is a partner in the law firm of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, Newport Beach, CA., and Rick is a structural engineer for the firm of Myers Houghton & Partners in Long Beach, CA.

Bob & Jerri Beall –2001

Both Bob & Jerri are retired educators, after 30 plus years in the field.  Both of them still do educational consulting and are employed as ski hosts at Mammoth, CA., their second home.  They reside at 357 Los Altos, Long Beach, CA.
