Beall,
born _____ in ______, ______ county.
‘In 1991, I pursued my
spiritual journey by entering a religious community, and eventually
become a Catholic priest. During my theological studies, I was
fortunate to study one year in Belgium at Catholic University in
Leuven. And, I have been blessed to have ministered to people in
diverse capacities and various locations: I have worked with a Deaf
parish in Chicago and Sante Fe (learned sign language); taught English
to Mexican immigrants; served as athletic director for a parish in
Albuquerque; served as a parochial vicar at the same parish in
Albuquerque; served in the United States Air Force Reserve as a
chaplain; and a hospital floor chaplain for pediactrics/pediatrics
intensive care unit. I enjoyed my years as a religious and priest.
However, in 1998, I decided to
"re-enter the secular world", leaving my community and
the priesthood. I am now living in Tucson - Arizona, where I
have my own business as a real estate appraiser. Also, I am an
Adjunct Professor at Pima Community College, teaching Scripture
and English. I do have a special woman in my life, Victoria,
who you will meet at the reunion. We are involved at our parish with
the Catechumanate process (rite of Christian initiation for
adults).
The
religious community that I belonged too was called the
Premonstratensian Fathers or Norbertines. So at the reunion ask me
about them!'
