Ann Chatigny, born 5-10-1956 in Berkeley, CA.
Michelle
Ann Chatigny is currently Vice President of Compliance for
International Game Technology, a publicly traded corporation listed on
The New York Stock Exchange and the largest manufacturer and
distributor of slot machines in the world.
Michelle is responsible for ensuring IGT’s compliance with
gaming laws in all jurisdictions (approximately 214 at last count!)
where the company does business; obtaining and maintaining gaming
licenses; and monitoring the suitability of IGT’s business
operations, transactions and associations.
Michelle oversees the activities of IGT’s International,
Product and Regulatory Compliance Departments.
Michelle has been with IGT for 7 years, having joined IGT’s
Compliance Department in 1994, when she was convinced by a close
friend and former supervisor to leave the Nevada State Gaming Control
Board.
Michelle
has almost 15 years of experience in the gaming industry, beginning in
1986 when she became an agent in the Nevada State Gaming Control
Board’s Corporate Securities Division, and after only two years she
was promoted to the position of Senior Agent.
In 1989 she transferred to the Nevada State Gaming Control
Board’s Investigations Divisions, becoming its first female Senior
Agent in history. Prior
to her work with the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, Michelle
worked for 12 years in the banking industry, first in California with
Sumitomo Bank, and then in Nevada with Nevada National Bank, starting
as an Assistant Operations Officer and eventually moving up to serve
as a commercial loan officer for Nevada National Bank in Reno.
Michelle
currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, having moved there from Carson
City in 1993, where she had lived previously since 1979. Michelle is an accomplished world traveler but when home, she
enjoys spending time with her loving Golden Retriever puppy, Max, and
looks forward to visits from family.
