Aug 2001 Bios (Detailed BIOS below) Juna works for a landscape contractor four days a week.  She still loves plants and flowers.  Her hobbies include quilting and gardening.  Juna used to be a florist in San Francisco for about 15 years, and recently changed to working for a landscape contractor for the past 3 years.  She's been in the horticulture (florist) business for a total of 23 years. Bill is a native San Franciscan, a career SF fireman after a 5 year stint in the PD (police department). Still LOVES it.  His hobbies include mostly sports, softball, skiing, golf and riding his Harley.  The Carle's were married in 1989 and currently reside in San Bruno, CA.

Juna's life as a love of plants and flowers:  I love plants and flowers.  'As a product of the FLOWER POWER generation, I guess it is not unnatural that I decided to study Horticulture after a full year of "experimenting" with different subjects as S.F. State.  I have an A.S. from City College of San Francisco with certificates in Retail Floristry and Nursery Operation.  Most of my career has been with a wholesale florist who shipped cut flowers nationwide, and has a retail operation in the SF flower Market (15 yrs).  Before that, there was 1 year at another wholesale company  and 4 years at a greenhouse, growing houseplants.   I took a year off for health reasons in 1994.  I am now working at a landscape contractor in SF, 4 days a week, doing administrative work and site supervision (3 yrs).'  [Courtesy of Juna Payne Carle - Aug 2001]
